Elaine
In her mid twenties, Elaine followed her
father into the record business (father Jim at
Dot Records), first working at Atlantic
Records, then moving with her new boss &
A&R wizard John Kalodner (the John
Lennon-esque one in Aerosmith's "Dude
Looks Like A Lady", & "Pink" videos)
becoming one of the first five employees
(including David Geffen) to the newly formed
Geffen Records.
While in A & R at Geffen, Elaine was
instrumental in coordinating projects for
Aerosmith, Aisa, Berlin, Cher, Elton John,
Jimmy Paige, John Lennon, Sammy Hagar,
Wang-Chung, Whitesnake, Nelson, Eric
Carmen, earning some nine Gold & Platinum
records for her efforts.
When Geffen was sold to Interscope, Elaine
moved on to parent company Warner Bros.
Records as special projects manager for
Madonna, and numerous other Warner
artists, then on to Disney's Hollywood Records
in Burbank, CA., as a dualA&R executive
assistant, working with young talent as Miley
Cyrus, the Jonas Bros., and numerous others.
Elaine brings with her priceless music
industry experience, and management skills to
Soul Ambition Music, with a level of
professionalism rarely found in the business
these days!
Elaine's credits speak for themselves.
